A walk in the woods

The first in a new series of illustrations I am working on as part of a continued self-initiated drawing project. This is 'a walk in the woods' as that is often where I get inspired to draw a little part of nature. Walking through the woods I see patterns and shapes forming, growing from the landscape, I can find myself just looking at the bark of a tree for quite a while before I realise my dog has got bored and fallen asleep...
