Eco-cube design collaboration

This is the 1st eco-cube made in collaboration with furniture maker D H Painter, The eco-cube is a superb example of turning your rubbish into something amazing. Before it was given to me it had been made on the inside from lots of 4-pint milk bottles (others are made from fizzy drink bottles), cut and secured together to create a cube shape, then reinforced with card and finally covered in padding for comfort. My part was creating the cover design with a continued Japanese theme in my artwork the image is made from a mix of screen print and machine stitching. Quite a beautiful piece of furniture.
